Wie kann ich das Passwort für mehrere Kennungen auf einmal zurücksetzen?
Firstly, it is not possible to "reset" the password of an account. There is no "back" to a previous password! The LRZ knows neither the previous nor the current password of an account - only the user knows that. If he/she has forgotten it, you as the master user can set him/her a new start password, which your user must change to a personal one in the IDM portal.
Secondly, there is no function for resetting the passwords of several accounts at once. You can only reset the start password of a single account at a time.
If you have a large number of accounts for which the password is to be reset uniformly - in this case, only course accounts are possible - please inform your LRZ advisor of these accounts. In general, your advisor will change the password uniformly for all accounts in the course project. However, if you send him/her with a list of accounts, he/she can also limit the change with a uniform password to these list elements.
