Wie kann ich einer LMU-Benutzerkennung weitere Berechtigungen für LRZ-Dienste geben?
In general, you must first "import" the LMU account into your LRZ project. The prerequisite for this is that your project is approved for the account import. You can recognize this in the IDM portal by the remark "(with import of LMU accounts)" under "Project | View/Modify" in the heading of the main window behind the project name.
Then you will also see a menu item "import" on the left under "Account". During this process, you will be directed to a page where you can select additional services operated by the LRZ for this account (e.g. Mail or Exchange, Backup and Archiving).
After successful import of the account, the account appears in the list of accounts of your project. In this list of accounts or under "Account | View/Modify" you can also add, block or delete permissions for further services later.
If the account to be imported has already been migrated to Exchange für lmu.de, it is not necessary to assign permission for "Mail" during the import. This permission has no effect, becaus all e-mail settings and e-mail addresses are bound to the Exchange permission.
However, you can only give the account a mail address for Exchange or Mailin-Mail initially - only directly when importing.
