Messages for SuperMUC-NG

Due to the job processing backlog and the current job profile, no reservations or priorizations can be granted.

Please note that the CPU frequency on all nodes has been lowered from 2.7 to 2.3 GHz, to reduce the energy consumption. EAR is currently not active, so job execution times are expected to rise somewhat.

The new version 2020.3.1 of StarCCM+ (CFD software by Siemens PLM Software) has been installed on Linux Clusters and SNG. New corresponding module files are provided. The new version 2020.3.1 has been made the new default StarCCM+ module.

Messages for Cloud and other HPC Systems

The Compute Cloud will be affected by a downtime of up to three days sometime during calendar week 5. The specific time frame will be announced soon. For further details see here.

This downtime will also affect RStudio Server.
