SuperMUC Phase1 has been switched off on Jan 2, 2019
please use the login nodes of phase2 to access your data and instead of the fat nodes phase1, use the big nodes of phase2.

Remote visualisation cluster returned to user operation:
After an upgrade to SLES 12 SP3 the rvs nodes are available again. The resource information can be retrieved via "sinfo --cluster rvs" from any linux cluster login node. For further instructions please refer to this documentation: Remote Visualisation.
Please also be aware that the web service rvs.lrz.de has been retired and will be replaced with a remote visualisation running on the new Compute Cloud.
