Basic configuration of the ISP client

Important notice:

For the optimal configuration, you still need to perform the advanced configuration after these instructions! → Instructions for the extended configuration

Now start the graphical user interface (GUI)

Click Weiter >

Now enter the name of your requested node here

Select here the standard TCP/IP V6 and press on Weiter >

Enter here your TcpServerAddress and the TcpPort (registration mail) and confirm it with Weiter >

Press delete all here and click on Weiter >

Uncheck Back up all local file systems and select your drive,

that should be backed up. Then click on next and after that on Anwenden.

Enter your node password here (you will find it in the registration mail) and press Anmelden.

Now enter the current node password and then enter the new password twice and press Ändern

You have now successfully completed the basic configuration of the ISP Client, please close the ISP Client now. The IBM Spectrum Protect Client configuration currently contains only the most necessary entries to be able to use the ISP Client at all.
