Wie kann ich die Berechtigungen einer Kennung ändern?
The permissions of an account can be edited in the Master User Services as follows:
- Select the menu item "Account view/modify" in the left navigation bar.
- Search for the account to be modified, for example by entering the login name.
- You are now at the beginning of a sequence of forms consisting of several individual steps.
- Select the step "Services" in the upper right navigation bar.
- You can now add (status "aktiv"), block (status "gesperrt") or delete (status "gelöscht") permission for each individual LRZ service for which your project is in principle authorized.
- To save, please click on the button "Accept and continue"; the meaning of these buttons is explained in a separate entry: What do the buttons "Accept and continue" and "Save and exit" mean?
- If you want to assign a new permission, but your project quota is not sufficient, you will receive an error message, which you can solve in the following entry: How can I apply for additional accounts and permissions for my project?
There are a few services that are activated via separate application and approval workflows, e.g. web servers. You cannot change these authorisations in the IDM portal, but must contact the LRZ Service Desk.
