Welche weiteren Risiken birgt die Kennungsverschmelzung für die Benutzer?
LRZ and LMU will take extensive precautions to ensure that permissions, accesses and access options for users will still function after the account merger. However, only systems and data areas that are administered centrally by the LRZ or LMU, by master users or by ADS-Partial-Admins can be covered.
Cannot be secured by the LRZ and are therefore potentially at risk:
- local storage areas (C:) of workstation computers
- local storage areas of public PC pools, e.g. at the university library
- local network storage (NAS-Filer)
- Configuration of applications, if the account is stored there by name.
- Profiles in web applications in which the account is used for assignment (e.g. as part of the eduPersonPrincipalName at LMU-Moodle)
If the user does not save the data stored there to other locations before the account is merged, it can no longer be accessed later or may be deleted immediately when the "loser account" is deleted.
