The reasons for such a problem can be complex. We advice to check the following points first:

  1. Is there an active internet connection?
  2. Is there an active firewall that blocks the client connection?

  3. Is there enough storage left on the LRZ Sync+Share server?
    1. FAQ 130 - How do I free disk space from file versioning?
  4. Are there any files that interfere with the synchronization? Such a case can be examined in the client window by clicking on "Transfers" (on the right side).
    1. Note: The LRZ Sync+Share client must be switched to the advanced mode to be able to do so (→ FAQ 202). 
  5. Do the problematic top-level folders still exist on the LRZ Sync+Share server

  6. It may help to stop and restart the synchronization for the top-level folder:

  7. It may help to reset the LRZ Sync+Share client to factory defaults:
