Was bedeuten die Schaltflächen "Übernehmen und fortfahren" bzw. "Speichern und beenden"?
Some menu items, that you can select in the left navigation bar, lead to a series of related forms called individual steps. For example, the menu item "View/modify account" consists of the steps "Search account", "Account's data", "Account's owner", "Services", "Groupmembership", "Password" and "Status/Note".
In all forms where you can enter or change data, you will find two buttons that lead to a similar, yet different result:
- "Accept and continue" saves your changes in the LRZ dataset and switches to the next form/step, e.g. from "Account's data" to "Account's owner".
- "Save and exit" also saves your changes in the LRZ database, but does not go through the remaining steps, but immediately shows you the summary page which, after the last step, once again clearly presents all the changes made.
In the last step of each menu item, the effect of both buttons would be identical; therefore only "Save and exit" is offered there.
Depending on the form content, further buttons are available, for example to go to the next step without making any changes. Please note that you can also use the left or upper navigation bar to jump between menu items or steps; however, any changes made will not be saved. If you have made changes in the forms that you do not want to discard, you should therefore always use one of the two buttons "Accept and continue" or "Save and exit".
