Warum wird 1-2 Wochen bis zur Kennungskonsolidierung gewartet?

The owners of the accounts will be informed 1-2 weeks before the account merge. The reason for this is that despite the automatic account merging, one or the other change has to be made by the user himself, among other things:

• Change of the user name in Sync+Share clients, if the "loser account" was used for logging in there.
• Changing the user name in the mail program, if the "loser account" was used there for logging in.
• Integration of the personal cloud storage as a network drive or web disk if the "loser account" was previously used for authentication.
• Backup of locally stored data on PC pools that are connected to the MWN-ADS. This applies, for example, to the PCs of the university library if the "loser account" was used as the login account there.
