New Master User must be appointed by the head of the respective institution. Therefore, please contact the head of your institution. Please ask him/her to inform the LRZ administrator responsible for you in an informal e-mail who should become the new Master User and from whom the master user rights should be withdrawn, if applicable. If you do not know your supervisor or his/her mail address, please read Who is my LRZ supervisor?

Please hand over all relevant written documents to your successor, e.g. a possible copy of the project application, a list of the project's identifiers, etc.

If possible, please briefly instruct your successor in the use of the Master User services and inform him/her about any special features of your project; point out to him/her that he/she should contact his/her supervisor in case of any uncertainties in his/her new task - as it is stated in the FAQ: I'm a new Master User.
