012 - Wie kann ich das Passwort für meinen Node ändern und aus welchen Zeichen darf es bestehen?

The Password can be changed in DATWeb (https://datweb.lrz.de/) with "Change Node Details" > "New Password" > "Repeate Password" > "Change Password".

If you know the Password you can also use the graphical user interface (GUI) via Utilities → Change password or using the "dsmc set password" command.

The password must be between 8 characters and 63 characters long, case-sensitive.
It may consist of the following characters:
letters a - z
digits 0 - 9
Special characters + (plus), . (dot), _ (underscore), - (hyphen) and & (ampersand).

If the node is locked (error ANR2178E), the node has to be unlocked before the password can be changed:
