What are roles and rights?
Roles
- A role supplies its holder with a set of rights within a specific area and within a specific unit.
- Examples: TUMonline administrator, examiner, telephone administrator.
Rights
- Individual rights are grouped into sets that are tied to a specific role. They give the holder of this role access to TUMonline that is required to carry out the respective roles.
- Examples: Examination administration-> creating examinations, evaluating candidates, establishing registration deadlines.
- If you require a specific right such as administering lectures or examinations, you must have the corresponding role allocated to you in TUMonline.
