Mit welchen Kennungen ist WLAN- und VPN-Zugang ins MWN möglich?

VPN and WLAN access to the Munich Scientific Network (MWN) is possible with the following accounts:

• LRZ accounts that are assigned via "Master User" and have the service "VPN/WLAN".
  (Login with the account and the corresponding password)
• TUM accounts of employees and students of the TU Munich (administered via TUMonline)
  (Login with the e-mail address ...@tum.de and the corresponding password)
• LMU accounts of employees and students of LMU Munich (administered via LMU portal)
  (Login with the e-mail address ...@lmu.de or ...@campus.lmu.de and the corresponding password)
• HSWT accounts of employees and students of the Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences
  (Login with the account and the corresponding password)
• Accounts of other institutions in the MWN, provided that the institution in question operates its own Radius server and that this is hooked into the Radius proxy at the LRZ (such as the Munich University of Applied Sciences). With a VPN access for the MWN, the following permissions are connected, among others:

• Connection of mobile computers (laptops) via public data sockets
• Use of WLANs maintained by the LRZ
• Use of MWN-internal services when dialing in via external Internet providers (e.g. via DSL), e.g. use of the Sophos anti-virus service
