VR Lecture / -Practical Course

The course consists of two components - the basics, algorithms and applications are explained in the theoretical part. In addition, there is a practical part, in which advanced topics such as OpenSG programming, handling VR hardware and the use of various VR software packages are explained. These practical parts are important for the final project, which has to be submitted at the end of the lecture.

The purpose of the course is to introduce the technology of Virtual Reality to the interested listener. At the end of the lecture he should be able to develop VR applications independently. The course is held at LMU (theoretical part) and LRZ (practical part).
