317 - LRZ Sync+Share kann nicht geöffnet werden, da Apple darin nicht nach Schadsoftware suchen kann (macOS)

The following problem was reported on macOS after installing the LRZ Sync+Share client:

LRZ Sync+Share can't be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software.

Solution

A workaround is as follows:

1. System settings → Security to "Allow apps download from:".
2. Click 'Open anyway' on 'Starting of "LRZ Sync+Share" was blocked because the app is not from a verified developer'.
3. When the message appears, click on 'Open'.
