204 - Wie kann ich die Standard-Einstellungen des Clients wiederherstellen (ohne Datenverlust)?


Windows

  1. Stop the Client by right-clicking on the icon in the taskbar, click "Exit" and open Windows Explorer.
  2. Activate the hidden files in the explorer settings.
  3. Go to the directory: C:\Users\<loginname>\AppData\Roaming
  4. Select the directory LRZ Sync+Share and delete it.
  5. Start the client and log in with the same username and password as before.
  6. If necessary, folders have to be set up again for synchronization. Click on the icon in front of the folders and select the old location of the folder where the files are still stored as destination.


Linux / macOS

  1. Stop the Client by right-clicking on the icon in the taskbar and click "Exit".

  2. In the terminal, enter rm -rfv ~/'.LRZ Sync+Share' or open a file manager, enable the display of hidden files and delete the '.LRZ Sync+Share' folder from the user directory.

  3. Start the client.

  4. Folders may have to be set up again for synchronization. Click on the icon in front of the folders and select the old location of the folder where the files are still stored as destination.
