112 - Welche Dateien sollten nicht synchronisiert werden?

Generally, only user files (such as documents, images, texts, etc.) should be synchronized. So-called program files (such as database files, mailbox files, etc.) that are created and managed by applications themselves should not be synchronized. Problems are to be expected during the runtime of the program.

We recommend not to synchronize the following file types:

• Git repositories → Use GitLab please!
• EndNote
• Matlab
• LaTeX (especially the continuously new/overwritten files that are created during the compilation process)
• Citavi
• Web Confidential 4.0
• OneNote
• Database structures
