Starting Jupyter Notebooks and connecting to them as previously indicated in this guide is deprecated NOW due to some security concerns. We therefore no longer support this model.

Further notice on how to launch Jupyter Notebooks on the LRZ AI System will be communicated in the next few weeks.

Apologies for the inconveniences. 


Access to this system is only granted to Linux Cluster account upon request (via If you have not requested access, you will not have a $HOME directory in the system and therefore will not be able to use it. 

Important: --gres=gpu:X required

Dear user, as of now, you must always indicate the --gres=gpu option when requesting a resources allocation.

e.g., if you want to use 2 GPUs on a system, you must add --gres=gpu:2 when allocating resources
