Starting Jupyter Notebooks and connecting to them as previously indicated in this guide is deprecated NOW due to some security concerns. We therefore no longer support this model.

Further notice on how to launch Jupyter Notebooks on the LRZ AI System will be communicated in the next few weeks.

Apologies for the inconveniences. 

The LRZ AI and MCML Systems will undergo a maintenance procedure between August 1st and 3rd, 2022. On these days, the system will not be available to users. Normal user operation is expected to resume on August 4th. Apologies for any inconveniences.


Access to this system is only granted to existing Linux Cluster account accounts upon additional request (via 3. Access and Getting Started). If you have not requested access, you will not have a $HOME directory in the system and therefore will not be able to use itthe system

e.g., if you want to use 2 GPUs on a system, you must add --gres=gpu:2 when allocating resources
