Planned Maintenances

2022-01-07 07:00 - 2022-01-10 17:00The hardware of the LRZ_PILOT pool will be phased out by end of 2021. All DSS containers currently residing on the LRZ_PILOT pool will be migrated to another pool during this maintenance. Beginning on Friday, access to /dss/dssfs01 will be removed and the data will be migrated to /dss/dssfs03. We'll notify the affected data curators and container users when the migration of their container has been finished and it's safe to continue to work on the new container location on /dss/dssfs03. At the latest we estimate that this will happen on Monday 17:00 o'clock.
2022-01-10 07:00 - 17:00We need to perform some disruptive Hard- and Software Upgrades on dsstumfs01, dsstumfs02 and dsskcsfs01. Therefore the mentioned file systems will become unavailable for some hours in the mentioned maintenance window.

2020-02-09 13:10 The problems on dsskcsfs01 have been resolved. Filesystem has been remounted on the cluster nodes.
2020-02-09 12:15We are currently experiencing an outage of dsskcsfs01. We are working to resolve the issue.
2020-07-31 17:00The issue with Globus shared endpoints is resolved.
2020-07-27 12:00Currently the creation of Globus shared endpoints and management of Globus Sharing Invitations does not work. We are working with Globus to resolve the issue.
2019-11-23 11:30The issue with the cache battery has been resolved. Performance of TUM-DSS has been restored to the normal levels.
2019-11-22 15:20Due to a cache battery failure, performance on TUM-DSS might we lower than usual. We work with the vendor to replace the failed battery as soon as possible.
2019-11-20 10:45The issues in the invitation handling subsystem have been resolved.
2019-11-19 16:30We are experiencing problems in the invitation handling subsystem since about 16:30. Currently it seems that deletion of unaccepted invitations take longer than usual. We are working on resolving the issue.
