Exchange ist ein Groupware-Produkt der Firma Microsoft, das außer Mail u.a. auch Kalender, Adressbücher sowie eine Aufgabenverwaltung beinhaltet. Der Zugriff auf die Postfächer sollte hier vorzugsweise über Microsoft Outlook oder die Webschnittstelle Outlook on the Web (xmail.mwn.de) erfolgen, da dabei die Groupware-Funktionalitäten am besten unterstützt werden. Hierbei brauchen Sie kein Konto einzurichten, Sie loggen sich einfach mit Ihrem Kennung und dem Passwort ein. Es ist aber auch ein Zugriff mit IMAP/POP-Clients bzw. entsprechenden Apps möglich. Um eine Konfiguration erfolgreich durchzuführen, benötigen Sie Ihre Kennung mit dem zugehörigen Passwort, sowie Ihre E-Mailadresse. Sollten Sie Probleme mit Kennung und/oder Passwort haben, wenden Sie sich bitte an den für Sie zuständigen Kontakt. In allen Beispielen wird ein Client für das Exchange-Postfach von Max Mustermann (Max.Mustermann@lrz.de) mit der Kennung di69soz konfiguriert. Outlook Anywhere bzw. MAPI/HTTP kann nur automatisch (Autodiscover) anhand Ihrer E-Mailadresse und Ihrem Passwort konfiguriert werden. Postausgangsserver
Bei Nutzung von Outlook und Outlook on the Web erfolgt der Versand automatisch, ohne dass dazu etwas konfiguriert werden muss.

Exchange is a groupware product from Microsoft, which in addition to mail also includes calendars, address books and task management. The mailboxes should preferably be accessed via Microsoft Outlook or the web interface Outlook on the Web (xmail.mwn.de), as the groupware functionalities are best supported here. You don't need to create an account, just log in with your account and password. However, access with IMAP/POP clients or corresponding apps is also possible. In order to successfully perform a configuration, you need your account with the corresponding password, as well as your e-mail address.
